4Chan Trolls Mock ‘False Flag’ Bomb Scare By Making Parody ‘Bombs’ Of Their Own

INFORMATION LIBERATION — You’ll no doubt be shocked to learn the “weaponized autists” at 4Chan are not buying the latest bomb scare targeting Democrats less than two weeks out from the midterms.

On Wednesday, CNN’s Jim Acosta shared images of one of the suspect devices he says was sent to CNN.

The New York Times reported Wednesday that bomb technicians who studied the device said it “had hallmarks” of a “fake explosive” of “the kind more typically depicted on television and in movies, rather than devices capable of detonating.”

“Some bomb technicians who studied photos of the device […] suggested that the bomb sent to CNN had hallmarks of fake explosives — the kind more typically depicted on television and in movies, rather than devices capable of detonating” https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/24/nyregion/clinton-obama-explosive-device.html

The Time Warner Center, home to CNN’s New York offices, was evacuated after an explosive device was sent there.

The similar devices set off an intense investigation into whether a bomber is going after people who have often faced barbed right-wing criticism.

As the New York Times reported:

None of the devices harmed anyone, and it was not immediately clear whether any of them could have. One law enforcement official said investigators were examining the possibility that they were hoax devices that were constructed to look like bombs but would not have exploded.

[…]A digital clock was taped to the middle of the pipe, a feature that experts say is typically shown on fictional bombs in an attempt to ratchet up dramatic tension, but unnecessary in real life.

In fact, bombmakers generally avoid attaching visible clocks to their devices to keep from tipping off their targets about when the bombs are set to explode.

4Chan trolls responded by sharing parody “bombs” of their own using the “Autist Cookbook” which they shared along with comments such as, “Just got this in the mail, I’m scared!” […]

  1. 4chan /pol/ and the Kiwi Farms site are on the case of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting today, stopping a circumcision mutilation of a baby Jewish boy, killing multiple people apparently, with alleged shooter ‘Robert Bowers’ arrested

Robert Bowers had been posting on gab.ai, a twitter alternative used by many right wing people

Bowers had been denouncing Trump for being too Jewish-favouring

10 days ago, Bowers had re-posted a message from anti-Jewish US politician Patrick Little, who warned, “I expect a very large false flag attack as one of the final desperate attempts by the jewish international oligarchy to maintain power in the face of collapsing public trust in (((the media)))”

And so have they picked this ‘Robert Bowers’ to be the patsy for killing, with the irony that he himself had just tweeted about expecting a Jewish-run false flag?

4chan /pol/ is a site of largely right-wing, young, computer savvy people, whose users are often an unparalleled resource in drilling down to facts quickly, not easy to navigate but worth a look for documented evidence, amidst much racist sexist juvenile humour etc material

Kiwi Farms is a site about eccentric internet communities in general, with a special section devoted to mass shooting situations, and archiving material before it disappears. It quickly set up a Robert Bowers thread, pointing out, e.g., that there are two Robert Bowers in Pennsylvania, one not the shooter, but with a long criminal record

    • At least 10 dead, 6-7 wounded: Has anybody seen even one image of a stretcher with a human on it, or multiple ambulances rapidly leaving the scene. There should be plenty of activity. If so post, so far I see nothing. They keep looping the same unrevealing images over and over.
