Bad Days for IDF in the Fighting

For some reason, the IDF has finally admitted to high casualties in the dug in ruins of Khan Younis. There is speculation that the true losses are being leaked past censors to the Israeli media.

Al Jazeera said last night: “the next 48 hours will be the bloodiest and the biggest battles in Gaza so far”.

These IDF losses resulted from explosions of two buildings, the targeting of a tank, and the boobytrapping of a tunnel in Khan Yunis. The buildings are described by the IDF as a “security event” which sounds like a sabotage explosive.

But in reality the weapon making an appearance to hit the IDF staging buildings is the TBG, which is a heavy punch projectile designed for more fortified positions. So now it appears that as the IDF has been worn down, drawn deep into Gaza, and takes possession of static positions there, a more lethal game changer weapon is rolled out by the proficient militia.

There appears to be the standard IDF “get some” friendly fire or Hannibal directive involved with the tank as the crew was about to be captured. A number of IDF soldiers are also missing in this battle.

North Gaza combat footage:

⚡️WATCH: Al-Qassam (Hamas) published a video showing its forces clash with military vehicles and IOF forces, in the eastern regions of Jabalia Al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

There were a series of attacks on IDF forces by Hezbollah on the afternoon of the 22nd who claimed direct hits, casualties unknown.

Soldier to soldier I think these dwebs in the last video are way in over their heads. First video are your basic Israeli in the window strikes.

      • Look how blurry the camera shots were ,much of it looks to be done with AI ,especially the colour of the fire of the explosions .

        • The whole surreal ruined environment is hazy and dusty. The militia quickly high tails it once a single projectile has been discharged. There are drones overhead picking up heat from the RPGs. That brief departure segment has frequently been enhanced into a production for propaganda effect- no doubt.

    • Thanks, Roger Ebert. Next attack, we’ll ask them if they might hire Spielberg to block the shots and John Williams to score the music.

  1. I want Hamas to have enough of a win so that there are no Gazans or Israelis resettled in the US. Israel has already floated the idea of the West taking in Gaza refugees and I see the fleet we have deployed in the eastern Mediterranean end up being used for a refugee boat lift like Mariel in 1980.

I think this outcome results from either Netanyahu being ousted and replaced by a more conciliatory Israeli government or a long, drawn out conflict or both. So far, it appears that the Gazans are holding fast while Israel is showing internal political fractures.

How are the Gazans getting resupplied with food etc.? And can this be sustained if the war expands to a regional war drawing in the US which becomes more likely as the war gets prolonged?
