Mayor Pete the Spook: A Favorite of the Kakistocracy and Parasite Guild

Mayor “Pete the Cheat” Buttigieg comes across as a model globohomo candidate of “The Blob,” a nickname for the informal permanent kakistocracy that forms America’s intelligence and foreign policy apparatus. He has a stable of backers who strangely seem to have two — or at most three — degrees of in-your-face separation.  What is it about Pete that drew such a group around him?

Forty billionaires and their spouses have donated to Buttigieg’s presidential campaign, according to an analysis of federal election filings.

Mayor Pete the Cheat has raised $75.4 million in campaign donations to date and is well positioned for the primaries with $14.5 million on hand. Among those funds, $42.2 million came from large donors.

Buttigieg’s support shot up 4 points to 23% in New Hampshire during the past 24 hours, according to a survey highlighted in The Hill. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) still leads with 24% support, but the latest results put the two candidates closer in a virtual tie. Obama’s vice president, the senile ol’ corrupto Joe Biden, garnered just 11% support in the Granite State.

One of Mayor Pete’s backers is Jennifer Pritzker. She’s one of 11 billionaire heirs in the Chicago-based Jewish Pritzker clan and is the world’s only known transgender billionaire. Mayor Cheat as a homosexual can be counted on, even as Veep, to lard up the power structure with members of the Gayplex.

Pritzker inherited stakes in the family’s Hyatt Hotels chain as well as industrial firms run by her late father Robert and brothers Jay and Donald. The Pritzkers were instrumental in the rise of Barrack Obama.

More than one third of Buttigieg’s wealthy benefactors got rich in finance and investments. They’re also a who’s who of Jewish oligarchy. Among the group are seven who built their fortunes from hedge funds, including Bill Ackman, Philippe Laffont and Seth Klarman.

Klarman is a Jewish vulture hedge fund operator with a particular interest in Puerto Rican debt of which he holds $911 million of the island’s bonds. He declares Puerto Rico should pay its debts.

We can imagine that Buttigieg would be an errand boy in the great American foreclosure following an inevitable market and economic crash. Keep in mind that during such crashes, the billionaires always seem to be bailed out or protected from losses. For them, crashes are a big buying opportunity. They snatch up the private assets of the American public on the cheap.

Klarman is a prolific funder of the pro-settler Israel lobby.  Klarman was the principal financier of The Israel Project, the recently disbanded Israeli government-linked propaganda organization that lobbied against the Iran nuclear deal. He funded The David Project, which was established to suppress Palestine solidarity organizing on college campuses across the U.S. Klarman donated $100,000 to the Syrian American Medical Society, a U.S.-based non-profit that has lobbied aggressively for U.S. intervention in Syria while partnering on the ground with foreign-backed extremists that occupied large swaths of the country.

After the Iowa caucus turned into a fiasco, we learned that Klarman was among those who funded Shadow, Inc., the designer of the voting app utilized in Iowa.

Shadow, Inc. was launched by a major Democratic dark-money nonprofit called Acronym, which also gave birth to a $7.7 million Super PAC known as Pacronym. According to Sludge, Pacronym’s largest donor is Seth Klarman.

According to FEC filings, Mayor Pete the Cheat’s campaign, called “Pete for America, Inc.,” paid $42,500 to Shadow, Inc., to create the software app used in the Caucus. Acronym’s co-founder and CEO Tara McGowan is married to Michael Halle, who was hired by Buttigieg in July of 2019 to be a senior campaign strategist.

Shadow, Inc., huh? LOL. No, you really can’t make this stuff up. Yes, conspiracy theories often write themselves.

The 37-year-old’s resume is pure New Underworld Order. He is the son of a leftist Notre Dame professor. His Harvard-to-Oxford educational pipeline; his service as a Navy Black Ops (aka opium?) Intelligence officer in Afghanistan [read: “Lame Excuses: WaPo’s Afghanistan Papers”] after a stint at McKinsey & Co.; and his fellowship at the Truman National Security Project. He finished with a few mediocre terms as mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Now, more than 200 national security and intelligence figures have endorsed his candidacy, including the former head of the National Clandestine Service and the agency’s former deputy director.

McKinsey is very much about disaster capitalism and bankruptcy restructuring, useful skill sets for Parasite Guild neoliberals.

The spooks’ choice: Coup plotters and CIA agents fill Pete Buttigieg’s list of national security endorsers

Buttigieg’s lengthy roster of endorsements is loaded with former intelligence operatives, national security hardliners, regime-change specialists, and vulture capitalists. He received backing from 218 foreign policy and national security apparatchiks.

Among Buttigieg’s most notable deep-state endorsers is David S. Cohen, the deputy director of the CIA from 2015 to 2017 and former Treasury official under George W. Bush.

Cohen is regarded as a “chief architect” of the crippling sanctions that the Obama administration imposed on Iran, Russia and North Korea — earning him the ignominious nickname the “sanctions guru.”

In his tenure at the Treasury Department, Cohen was also instrumental in drafting the Patriot Act, which restricted civil liberties and vastly increased the government’s surveillance powers in response to 9/11.

Cohen has yet to speak publicly as to why he endorsed Buttigieg.

Charlie Gilbert was recruited by GDBA from the Central Intelligence Agency, where he served in the Top-10 leadership position of Deputy Director of the National Clandestine Service.

He also served as:

• Executive Officer and Senior Operations Officer in the Directorate of Operations
• Chief of Global Intelligence Operations against a hostile target country

Another Buttigieg endorser, John Bair, is the former chief of staff for the CIA’s Middle East Task Force.

Buttigieg’s list of endorsers likewise includes Karen Mathiasen, former acting executive US director at the World Bank; as well as Julie T. Katzman, COO of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Both organizations have long histories of using debt to impose the will of U.S. policymakers onto poor countries.

Mathiasen, who previously served as deputy assistant secretary for debt and development policy at the Treasury Department, was intimately involved in the administration of what has been dubbed “debt colonialism.” Under this cynical practice, unsustainable levels of debt are used as a pretext to demand that debtor nations privatize government functions, impose austerity and allow greater exploitation by global capital.

The IDB where Katzman worked plays a similar role in enforcing the Washington Consensus across the Western hemisphere. Wielding debt as its weapon, IDB policies maintain “[Latin America’s] subordinated place in the global economy,” argues Professor Victor Sepúlveda, author of Industrial Colonialism in Latin America: The Third Stage.

Another key mucky muck behind Mayor Cheat is Matt Kaczmarek.

He’s vice president of BlackRock, the world’s largest investment manager, controlling nearly $7 trillion in assets.

In addition to being the director of Blackrock, Obama appointed Matt Kaczmarek White House Liaison at the Department of State in 2015.
