THE INDEPENDENT — A Massachusetts school is back in the spotlight following another brush with anti-semitism after it emerged a graduating student had included a Nazi quotation in its leavers’ yearbook.

The quote, which reads “Make the lie big, keep it simple, keep saying it and eventually they will believe it,” is attributed to the Third Reich’s propaganda supremo, Dr Joseph Goebbels. The quote is not attributed in the yearbook, and appears in black text underneath the photo of the student, who has not been identified.

Despite being vetted by school staff, it was a student who alerted them to the quote’s Nazi provenance.

Hundreds of copies of the yearbook had been printed and distributed to students at Andover High School in Massachusetts before the school became aware of the problem and stopped selling the yearbook. The school is now offering to replace the page or cover the quote up with a sticker. […]

  1. If I’m not mistaken, Goebbels was referring to how the chosen ones and the international media lied about the National Socialist movement. Goebbels also said the best propaganda is based on the truth.

  2. Reminds me a little bit of the case of Eva Herman, who used to read the news on German TV:

Starting in 2006, Herman authored multiple books that were critical of feminism and advocated for traditional female gender roles. Her books were met with widespread criticism and media scrutiny. In 2007, Herman was dismissed from her position as a news anchor at German national broadcaster ARD, after positively reviewing the family policies and gender roles of Nazi Germany.

The birthrate among Germans — I’m speaking of Biodeutsch here — is very low — combined with the massive influx of (low IQ, uneducated) migrants in the last few years, native Germans are now a distinct minority of children in nearly every major city — I used to think Sweden would be the first European country about which there would be an accurate prediction re when the native population would fall into minority status — now I think it will be Germany.

But if in the face of this dire national threat you praise the family-friendly policies of the National Socialists, you will be hounded out of polite society.
