THE SUN — A Labour official has been suspended from the party after he accused the Prime Minister of ordering the terror attack on Manchester in order to win the election.

Daniel Ewen, vice-chairman of one of the party’s Surrey branches, said the Conservatives were willing to “blow up their own people” to retain power.

He has now been suspended from the party over the vile slur and local politicians were quick to distance themselves from him.

Mr Ewen was previously deputy head of the Esher and Walton Labour Party.

On Tuesday – just one day after suicide bomber Salman Abedi murdered 22 people at the Manchester Arena – he posted the conspiracy theory on Facebook, Get Surrey reported[…]
