FBI Using the Same Fear Tactic From the First War on Terror: Orchestrating its Own Terrorism Plots

Questioning the FBI’s role in 1/6 was maligned by corporate media as deranged. But only ignorance about the FBI or a desire to deceive could produce such a reaction.

GLENN GREENWALD — The narrative that domestic anti-government extremism is the greatest threat to U.S. national security — the official position of the U.S. security state and the Biden administration — received its most potent boost in October 2020, less than one month before the 2020 presidential election. That was when the F.B.I. and Michigan state officials announced the arrest of thirteen people on terrorism, conspiracy and weapons charges, with six of them accused of participating in a plot to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who had been a particular target of criticism from President Trump for her advocacy for harsh COVID lockdown measures.

The headlines that followed were dramatic and fear-inducing: “F.B.I. Says Michigan Anti-Government Group Plotted to Kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer,” announced The New York Times. That same night, ABC News began its broadcast this way: “Tonight, we take you into a hidden world, a place authorities say gave birth to a violent domestic terror plot in Michigan — foiled by the FBI.”

Democrats and liberal journalists instantly seized on this storyline to spin a pre-election theme that was as extreme as it was predictable. Gov. Whitmer herself blamed Trump, claiming that the plotters “heard the president’s words not as a rebuke but as a rallying cry — as a call to action.” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) claimed that “the president is a deranged lunatic and he’s inspired white supremacists to violence, the latest of which was a plot to kidnap Gov. Whitmer,” adding: “these groups have attempted to KILL many of us in recent years. They are following Trump’s lead.” Vox’s paid television-watcher and video-manipulator, Aaron Rupar, drew this inference: “Trump hasn’t commended the FBI for breaking up Whitmer kidnapping/murder plot because as always he doesn’t want to denounce his base.” Michael Moore called for Trump’s arrest for having incited the kidnapping plot against Gov. Whitmer. One viral tweet from a popular Democratic Party activist similarly declared: “Trump should be arrested for this plot to kidnap Governor Whitmer. There’s no doubt he inspired this terrorism.” […]

  1. When we Conservatives see recurring stories like this one, to name just a few, it’s what makes US suspicious and upset of the FBI’s failures. 2012 Stephen Ivens Suicide – https://www.sfgate.com/crime/article/Burbank-FBI-agent-s-death-ruled-suicide-3767335.php
    2017 Kurt Smolek – https://mpdc.dc.gov/release/critical-missing-person-kurt-smolek

All the Conservatives I know are like me – we don’t want to see anyone get hurt by anyone else’s bad or reckless actions. We just want the once positive non-bias image of the FBI to come home to US All, regardless of political party, and to be the Independent Investigative Authority they are charged to be. And, for them or anyone to even imply that President Trump promoted violence is a flat out lie.

I voted for President Trump twice, and yes, I do feel/know from common-sense 101 that the CCP-Virus Hand Fed Voter Fraud was what seeded JOETUS into our Oval Office, and not a fair election process. Scary Version is that the FBI couldn’t see it and did nothing about it, or about the barrage of non-stop, fraudulent, false attacks on Donald Trump.

The Bureau has known, for decades, since late 1994, about what happened in South Florida regarding Donald Trump and a few Russians. I didn’t know the disposition on it until August 2016. That, he stood up like a man back in 1994 and did the right thing with FBI, under then Respected Director Lewis Freeh. I was there as a private contractor on that case and know what happened.

Just because some people have a personality conflict Donald Trump because of his candor for truth and a justice we once knew, doesn’t mean he’s a criminal.

All this, just because Donald Trump’s false accusers don’t like a person. Or, is it that Donald Trump’s to-date critics quietly conceal that, over decades, Trump witnessed their bad deeds, dark sides, and likely feared him ever gaining enough year-end 2016 Secret Service Protection – enough for him to tell it all to the world.

As Americans, who love our Nation, we just want our Country back, with or without Donald Trump. And, we damn sure don’t want to see anyone hurt in that process. As for the FBI right now, we need them to step up and do the right thing too. But, their presentation is that of our late President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s worst fear.

I don’t know exactly what happened on the Whitmer case, but from news reports, it just looks too polished, too quick; too timely and easy for the Bureau to put it together. I could be wrong – I wasn’t there. If they did it right, as I did for the Clintons in Fall-Winter 1993, God Bless them. Though naive at the time, it was on my watch and I did my job. What happened in the years that followed was what opened my eyes to their bad deeds.

  2. More valuable than a college education is the ability to discern good and evil. When Barack Obama who pisses and moans about global warming and rising tides spends $15 million on a beachfront home on Martha’s Vineyard you should know that he is a hypocrite. Fauci is a congenital liar. As fir the FBI…..after Comey, and McCabe, and Lisa Page….. it is obvious that the organization is completely corrupt.
    The future looks bleak.
