WASHINGTON POST — Most politicians go to great lengths to conceal their dirty laundry.
And then there’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Over the years, the Israeli leader has developed a reputation among the staff at the U.S. president’s guesthouse for bringing special cargo on his trips to Washington: bags and suitcases full of dirty laundry, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
The clothes are cleaned for the prime minister free of charge by the U.S. staff, a perk that is available to all foreign leaders but sparingly taken advantage of given the short stays of busy heads of state.
“The Netanyahus are the only ones who bring actual suitcases of dirty laundry for us to clean,” said one U.S. official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the details of a foreign leader’s visits. “After multiple trips, it became clear this was intentional.” …
The relatively minor accusation joins a longer list of corruption allegations that have threatened the 70-year-old leader’s hold on power and triggered protests in Israel this month. Netanyahu was indicted in November in a corruption trial involving gifts from wealthy friends and allegations that he sought regulatory benefits for media magnates in return for positive coverage. He is accused of accepting nearly $200,000 worth of gifts from business executives including cases of champagne and boxes of cigars. The trial opened in May and is scheduled to resume in January. […]
C’mon, people. The dirty clothes are distraction from what he’s really laundering.
Yes, and I wonder if this forcing the “animalistic, subhuman Gentiles” to wash Netanyahu’s dirty laundry is a symbolic act, gloating that the US government is controlled by Israel. Muslims do the same thing to humiliate Christians in Pakistan, where it is legal to murder a Christian for refusing to do things like clean a Muslim’s toilet on a Sunday.
Someone called it “Ritual Humiliation”— I think that’s what Netanyahu is doing by making US embassy staff do his laundry.
Very good point.
Russ & Torchy, just now Microsoft Edge blocked me from accessing your website completely, flashing a warning about misleading content, blah, blah, blah! The only way I could access your website is by going through the old normal Internet Explorer.
While I’m here, and in case I get blocked from your website again— Have you seen this latest shocker? The British government’s Chief Scientific Officer pushing Covid lockdowns & vaccines had £millions worth of shares in the vaccine maker GlaxoSmithKline, and still has £600,000 worth! The depth of this corruption is just unbelievable— I hope it will wake people up. Well done to the Telegraph whose investigative reporters first discovered it. Here’s a report from the Daily Mail (Telegraph makes you pay to read theirs)

Keep up the good work! If Microsoft Edge are blocking you, you must be doing something right. 🙂
We addressed the MSFT skulduggery in yesterday’s podcast post.
Oh, thank you so much for that! I followed your instructions on how to disable Microsoft’s block, and it actually worked! I was also pleased to discover that I can access your podcasts just like a YouTube video, which I did not realize before, being a Technological Dinosaur with corresponding fossil computer & ancient mobile phone. I never even really understood what the word “podcast” means! 🙂
There is also a tab to report the site safe to MSFT. If they get a flurry of these from loyal readers, that may end this dirty trick.
