YNET NEWS — Rabbi Col. Eyal Karim, who was announced on Monday as the IDF’s intended new chief rabbi, has provoked controversy with previous misogynistic statements, such as opposing female conscription and implying that rape was permissible in times of war.
The 59-year-old colonel was chosen to replace the outgoing chief rabbi, Brig. Gen. Rafi Peretz, who is stepping down after six years in the position. Karim has been serving as the head of the Rabbinate Department in the Military Rabbinate. He is an alumnus of the Bnei Akiva Nachalim and the Ateret Cohanim yeshivas, and he served previously as a combat paratrooper, eventually commanding their elite reconnaissance unit, before taking a break from the military and eventually returning to its rabbinate.

JERUSALEM POST — After a tumultuous path to the job, Rabbi Eyal Karim was sworn into office as the IDF chief rabbi and elevated to the rank of brigadier- general.
Karim’s nomination was beset by controversy after rulings and responses to questions of Jewish law he gave between 2002 and 2003 generated controversy as well as an appeal to the High Court of Justice against his appointment.
Karim was sworn in to office in the presence of IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan and chief rabbis Yitzhak Yosef and David Lau, among other dignitaries.

That is just normal Talmudic teaching – all gentiles are non-humans, there only to serve the talmudists. They may not bury gentiles nor help them and they may ‘remove the ladder’ if a gentile is down a well – permanently ie discreet murder so you are not caught. That is why the Palestinians (the true semites who have lived in Caanan/Palestine for 7,000 years) living in so-called Israel are treated with such brutality. Islam reveres Christ as a prophet, the Talmud’s attitude to Christ is unrepeatable (and his mother, Mary even more so).
