WHITE GIRL BLEED A LOT — Three years ago, New York stopped writing tickets for people who evaded fares on the subways.
People in the district attorney’s office and the subway authority were very explicit: 93 percent of the fare evaders were black or brown and that is not fair. So let’s just stop trying to catch people who do it.
