Protesters across France are set to take to the streets again on Saturday despite the government caving in over the controversial fuel price hike

THE SUN — The beleaguered head of state is locked in a law and order crisis, as thousands of so-called Yellow Vest protesters continue to demonstrate against his government.

There was widespread rioting in Paris last Saturday, with national monuments including the Arc de Triomphe vandalised and more than 400 people arrested.

Now a spokesman for Mr Macron has told AFP: “We have reason to fear a great violence this Saturday.” […]

  1. Something odd going on here- Murdoch’s mass market UK tabloid suggesting the French PM is predicting violence this weekend. I wonder if there is a plan for provacateurs to derail the successes the yellow jackets have had so far with unacceptable violence?
