3 Comments on The Early Life Section of Wikipedia Situation

  1. My Early Life journey a few years ago when I started looking up the songwriters for all of the insipid, soulless secular “Christmas” jingles (Rudolph, Frosty, songs about snow and cookies, etc) that have replaced real, beautiful Christmas music over years.

You’ll never in a million years guess what I learned about literally every single one of those songwriters.

  2. Don’t despair !!
The ‘Early Life’ section of Wiki pages will always be available via the Internet Archive ‘WayBack Machine’, which manages to capture the history of most pages on the www. here [https://archive.org/]
Enter the url of the page you are interested in, and WayBack will give you snapshots (with dynamic links) of the history of that web page.
Like all good things, it’s not perfect; but once you learn how to use WayBack it becomes an indispensable tool.
So like I say, no need to despair – this ‘Early Life’ history has been recorded, and will continue to be visible for those with eyes and desire to see.
Also, going forward, I think AI will be very useful here. For instance, want to know if a person comes from an oowish background, then ask AI to search all social media media on that person for indications/ attachments/ affiliations of their oowishness.
“They can run but can’t hide” as they say.
Thanks Russ – IMO this post is VIK (Very Important Knowledge).
    All best,
    :))P
