BIZPAC REVIEW — As if the debate over face mask-wearing amid COVID-19 isn’t contentious enough in some quarters, a dental practice is warning that keeping your mouth covered all or most of the time could allegedly lead to harmful hygiene issues such as gum recession (i.e., periodontal disease) and bad breath.
A Manhattan dentist calls this potential side effect “mask mouth” as a play on “meth mouth” that colloquially refers to the decay of teeth and gums among drug addicts.
Explaining the phenomenon, the dentist, Dr. Rob Ramondi told the New York Post that “We’re seeing inflammation in people’s gums that have been healthy forever, and cavities in people who have never had them before. About 50% of our patients are being impacted by this, [so] we decided to name it ‘mask mouth’ — after ‘meth mouth.’”
Ramondi’s colleague Dr. Marc Sclafani, explained that “People tend to breathe through their mouth instead of through their nose while wearing a mask. The mouth breathing is causing the dry mouth, which leads to a decrease in saliva — and saliva is what fights the bacteria and cleanses your teeth…saliva is also what neutralizes acid in the mouth and helps prevent tooth decay and gum disease.” […]
Anyone who thinks they will be protected by a foolish mask is a complete MORON! Don’t you think that if they really worked,, all of the convicts released from prison would have been safe with just a MASK?
A simple question to ask anyone (a mask wearer) who bothers you about not wearing a mask: If I need to wear a mask as well, what good is yours?
Nashville city councilwoman recommends attempted murder charges for some not wearing face masks
“My question goes back to legislation,” she said during the meeting. “But my concern is — you know I work for an organization, that if they pass a virus, then they are tried for murder or attempted murder, if they are not told … and this person who may very well pass this virus that’s out in the air because they’re not wearing a mask is basically doing the same thing to someone who contracts it and dies from it.”

Did this example of ‘black privilege’ preach this same reasoning during the aids crisis when homosexuals were pampered with privacy rights so as not to infringe upon their perversion thus putting the regular population at enormous risk- to the grand indifference of the powers that scree?
