They had perfected a new missile which could deliver “called shots” according to Matt Bracken, which gave the US warnings that they were in harm’s way (Iran had avoided bombing barracks with soldiers and instead bombed empty barracks, either for moral or strategic reasons). Since the USrael doesn’t listen they have made moral high ground into a well deserved kicking with painful kung fu kicks that make Bruce Lee look like a nursery school teacher.
