Saudi Arabia up to now has largely avoided the worst elements of the war. For reasons unknown (kompromat?) King MBS was sucked into attacks on the Houthis and Iraqi militias. The result is a hornet’s nest.
So, King MBS of Saudi Arabia followed Trump instructions to bomb the Alton Yemen when dignitaries were returning from the funeral of the Supreme Leader. They bombed the runway while the plane was landing for a photo-op.

mbs achillis heel is the 14mbpd sea water injection plant on the shores of the Persian Gulf at Qurayyah just north of Qatar. At 60% extraction pumping rate it enables an 8mbpd crude oil output from the giant Ghawar/Khurais oilfields inland to float upto to the surface of approx 5,000 wells in the two oilfields. ONE STEALTH DRONE STRIKE ON THE PUMPS AT QURAYYAH PLANT AND 80% OF SAWD CRUDE OIL OUTPUT WOULD BE LOST using a few cheap drones. The stoppage may even permanently damage the oilfields and turn mbs into a beggar.

Russ you are normally not an alarmist but I was listening to you talk about how all these events such as the Russians closing the Odessa port thereby cutting off crucial food shipments of grains as one more nail in humanity’s coffin. Being an alarmist is thought of as a pejorative (because everything is really OK just watch your football and drink your six pack) but the word “alarm” has an important function in case of emergency. Mike Adams who is constantly ringing the alarm bells was on Danny ‘s show and was trying to be, I think, very non alarmist the other day and said if the war stops now 40 million people in the South are looking at starvation. But no one cares because they are brown people, but when that number climbs and expands its range maybe you are right to ring that bell loud and clear. If nothing else, these events refute globalism (buying lettuce grown in China and selling it in the US) and indicates what real environmentalists have said for years, local, decentralized, organic farming and simpler life styles are the only thing sustainable. It sounds like idealistic nonsense but is it? (sorry, very wordy but I had my say).

The stupefied Americans don’t give a shit until the store shelves go empty and a loaf of bread at the soup kitchen cost $10,000.00. Because they made no effort to stop drinking the fluoride or consuming glyphosate, they will wish one day they had the brain capacity to grow food, learn survival or how to build a basic root cellar as the electric has shut down their frig, idiot box and cell phone.
