“Markets”: One for the Ages for the Fantasists

Tuesday “market” manipulation action was epic. Trump’s attempts to extend fantasy seems to have no end.

The “markets” are being permanently wrecked and the cracks are appearing everywhere. It’s not really a question of going to end badly, it is going badly. And if you believe the fantasy and aren’t privy to the corrupt leaks and insider trading you may very well be wiped out.

Oil declined sharply due to claims of “ceasefire”. Throughout the ceasefire and “deal” rally nobody paid the slightest attention to what Iran was saying.

Immediately after the “market” close oil recovered when Iran unloaded on U.S. bases in Jordan.

I think Iran had seen enough with Bibi’s mischievous shits and giggles pow wow in the White House and the corrupto lovefest at Lindsey Graham’s funeral. It probably didn’t help that Big Brain Trump threatened Iran’s bridges, power plants and what-not. Why would Iran be compelled to sit this out?

And who got tipped off on this “leak”? —>

The weekly American Petroleum Institute (API) inventory data just leaked, and it completely blindsided the paper shorts. While the retail market was locked out after the 4:00 PM close, the API released its private weekly report at 4:30 PM EDT, printing a massive, unexpected 3.3 million barrel draw in U.S. crude stockpiles.

As I write this early morning in Europe before the western “markets” open we see the carnage in Asia continuing. Wags should be reminded that an Asia crisis like this in 1998 almost brought the global economy down. And the potential for crisis is a magnitude many times higher today.

What’s happening in South Korea, won’t stay in South Korea.

There is a black swan credit event lurking out there.

After failed talks and repeated U.S. strikes, a growing number of voices inside Iran no longer believe diplomacy can work. Their answer is simple and brutal. Take the bull by the horn and raise the ante until the American economy itself is broken. “Make sure the U.S. economy is destroyed while Trump is the president.”

Integral to this objective is to call out the fantasists at every turn. Counter every manipulation possible.

THE HISTORICAL PLAYBOOK—>

America ends wars when its politicians finally realize they made a huge mistake. That is how Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan stopped. Either the executive branch (after Trump is removed) or Congress concludes the price is too high and the funding ends. The same logic is now being applied: force the realization that the current policy is destroying the U.S. economy, and the policy will change.

Bottom line: This is no longer about limited deterrence. This is about breaking the American economy while Trump is still in office.

  1. Great work, as usual Russ!

I listened to Col. Macgregor and he went into a detailed history of why the Ukraine is such a tangled mess

(much of the cause was Stalin I believe, and a thousand years of Russian history, but mainly how Stalin stole parts of other East Euro countries like Hungary and incorporated it into Ukraine. Logically the problem could be solved by re-establishing what was stolen back to those countries, but the “West” is too stupid to know anything about history)

which was brilliantly presented. The problem with NYC and Wall Street is you have all these traders sitting in front of computers believing it what Washington tells them about ceasefires and how the US has the situation in the SOH under control even when the facts show that due to bombing of ME oil infrastructure and other events oil prices should skyrocket.

  2. ‘Trump Unveils 21,000 Securities Trades Worth at Least $858,000,000 in First Year Back as US President’, https://dailyhodl.com/2026/07/29/trump-unveils-21000-stock-trades-worth-at-least-858000000-in-first-year-as-us-president/

21,000 trades. I wonder how many trades that is, per day?

    21000 / 365 = 57

    Wow, 57 trades per day.

I wonder how many trades that is, per hour? We assume President Trump sleeps eight hours a day:

    57 / 16 = 3.56

3.56 trades per hour works out to one trade every 15-20 minutes, for 16 hours straight

Donald Trump buys stocks the way some people smoke cigarettes – his actions would appear to betray a severe addiction to money.

If trades were cigarettes, Donald Trump would have a three-pack-per-day habit.

It’s no wonder foreign governments have no trouble making Donald Trump do the Ben Dover. He practically has a leash around his neck. You can lead him wherever you want. Just give him money.

It boggles my mind that the United States of America is full of cowards who are afraid to say this. Maybe we DO need testosterone treatments.

Or maybe we all just need to go back to school and learn basic math.

  3. Strangely, I posted the above comment eight hours before … but it mysteriously disappeared, overnight.

Was it Russ? Or meddling fascists, trying to control the message? Time will tell.

  4. If Donald Trump is executing one trade every 15-20 minutes, for 16 hours straight, 365 days a year … how does he have time to preside over these United States?

He is like an employee who refuses to work. He sits at his desk and plays video games ALL DAY. What do you do with such an employee?

I say Donald Trump has abandoned his responsibilities and needs to be removed. He is a poseur. A phony. A fake. A liar.

C’mon, folks. Do the fucking math. Or ask your fourth-grader to do it for you.

  5. Trump is a fool and surrounded himself with other fools. He has put the military in a position that it can no longer defend itself, stretched to far and to thin with a very long supply line. Iran for once has ignored trumps ceasefire and continues to attack countries that support the fool. Without wishing harm to ignorant US soldiers, it would be an opportune time for Iran to expand it’s defensive posture to other foolish countries.

  6. Trump is ultimately responsible for his actions.

If he delegates to others then he is responsible for that act of delegation and the consequences thereof.

    “The buck stops here.”

Nothing less is acceptable or possible.
