The 60-day negotiation period between Iran and the US will only start after the US releases Iranian frozen assets as agreed upon, according to Iran’s deputy Foreign Minister.
The official signing ceremony will be on 19th June in Switzerland. Let’s see if we get to the 19th June before an escalation happens. Then whether or not this still holds in 6 months time and beyond.

This can only be theater coordinated by both the US and Israel in favor of a longer term plan to totally mitigate Iran’s leverage. Israel will not give up on taking the land “promised to them by God” this easily and the US is fully owned so any conflict between them is staged.
Funny Col. Macgregor was on Danny Davis show and though I have a lot of respect for the Macgregor, he said more or less something like this:
1) That he had met very reasonable and intelligent Israeli military brass and they have a realistic expectation that Israel probably cannot fulfill the Greater Israel Project;
2) He seemed to imply that Hezbollah was just as guilty for the tensions between IsRealHell and Lebanon as was Israel;
3) He also blamed Trump for putting himself into this dilemma situation;
~ Since when are Israelis of any rank reasonable or intelligent when they are not shooting babies in the head for target practice?
~ Hezbollah did not attack northern Israel in recent times until Israel and US attacked Iran in summer of 2025, so whose fault are the tensions? (he seemed like an Israeli apologist all of a sudden);
~ Trump IS to blame but the issue precedes him by decades, and Macgregor was in one of those wars for IsRealHell fighting the enemy, er, I mean Israel’s enemy, wasn’t he?
I don’t mean to be too judgmental as Col. Doug has taught us so much about the Middle East situation and many other valuable things about US military and military history in general. He has also made many very harsh condemnations of Israel as well.
Just saying, well… never mind.

Except for the people hoping that a gallon of gas will drop back to where it was six months ago, I doubt most Americans paid much attention to this on again/off again charade in the first place. After all, a larger consideration is where y’all gettin’ together for the Fourth this year ? 250 big ones, or something. In hindsight, it’s difficult to imagine a more belligerent–or bloody–two and half centuries in the history of this planet. And that’s saying something. Not a good look, folks. But Americans clearly have not been paying attention to the Golden Rule: what goes around, comes around. I mean, our income tax dollars have and continue to finance this murderous debacle; that kind of makes us all complicit, whether we care to ponder how much death and destruction this highway robbery has wrought (we don’t). The yearly farce of burgers, beans, and beer is what really matters. But 250 years is barely a drop in the bucket, when viewed from the perspective of humankind’s long tenure here on Earth; much longer than orthodox academic historians are willing to countenance. The Great American Experiment was doomed from it’s inception. By not at least tacitly addressing the stain of slavery, which must have been an elephant-in-the-living-room deal apparent to somebody, this glorious Bastion of Liberty sort of got off on the wrong foot, right there. Oh well, nobody’s perfect. In view of the USA’s love of war and domination, a lot less than perfect.
