YAHOO (AFP) — A 78-year-old drifter in prison in Texas has confessed to 90 murders and is being investigated as possibly the most prolific serial killer in US history.

Samuel Little preyed mainly on drug addicts and prostitutes during a decades-long murder spree that stretched from coast to coast, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said in a report.

Little, a 6ft 3in (1.9m) former boxer also known as Samuel McDowell, was arrested at a homeless shelter in Kentucky in 2012 and extradited to California to face drug charges.

Once there, DNA evidence linked him to three cold cases and Little was convicted in 2014 of murdering three women in Los Angeles between 1987 and 1989. […]

  1. What is your take on this Russ? Did he really do all these or is he taking the fall for so many murders to clean out the cold case files for these PDs? I also thought Henry Lee Lucas was the most prolific, although the article says Ridgeway. HLL said he killed hundreds of people (some, he claimed, while as a member of a group he called the Hand of Death cult) before getting a conspicuous stay of execution from George W. Bush; the only man on death row to receive such compassion during Bush’s tenure if I’m not mistaken.

The show Hoax Busters Call mentioned that serial killers have been phased out in favor of the mass shooter. An interesting thought that lends creedence to the idea of these psychos being manipulated and created a la McGowan’s Programmed to Kill.
