Nike stock has undergone an epic collapse. This is being attributed to leftist wokeism and messing with it’s retail distribution network. And too much reliance on social media.
In 2020, Nike’s CEO cut off hundreds of the stores that sold its shoes. Selling direct earned 50% margins instead of the 35% wholesale paid, and the spreadsheet said the retailers needed Nike more than Nike needed them.

Nike being taken out of the S&P 500 due to its plummeting sales is yet another example of go woke and go broke. Let us not forget that Nike publicly backed athletes kneeling for the national anthem and later made Colin Kaepernick a centerpiece of a major campaign.

Technology for the sake of technology, is it a false path?
If we are souls, spiritual beings having a material experience in these human bodies (the basic story behind Christianity), then we could create whatever type of world we can imagine.
In this case the material world would be the ultimate virtual reality similar to the “Hollow Deck” on the original Star Trek series. An empty room, pop in a disc and the room transforms into a virtual world, anything from pirates to space aliens.

We’ve been here before. In 2001 just a few months before 9/11 another nurse drowned her 5 children while on psychiatric drugs. The media hyped the case as if it was unique. But from the time Yates was arrested until her trial, 2 other nurses killed their children while taking the same drug.
Andrea Yates’ husband went on 60 Minutes twice but was not allowed to mention the name of the drug (Prozac as I recall).
The pharma company threatened to pull all advertising off the entire network $600 million.
There are over 100,000 violent incidents reported annually in America, involving psychiatric drugs.
