Yesterday I happened upon two young American chaps who were very friendly and very smart. They had both been in the US Coast Guard and I asked them about the Lincoln Aircraft Carrier (Operation FUCK YOU) situation and neither of them knew about it. (They did not mean they were not very bright, they were busy traveling and only reliant on MSM probably not alt media). Anyway, they agreed that 2 months was the limit to what a mission on a ship should be due to mental and physical health. When I told them about Lincoln being at sea for 10 months they were flabbergasted. One had said jokingly that “2 weeks” is more like enough on a ship like that, meaning, even if it is your job it is not pleasant.
As Danny Davis noted, if not noted above in Russ’ post, it is not healthy to have to eat “rations” for long periods of time. Wartime combat operation ration kits are meant only for short stints while at battle, not for months on end: it is physically and mentally unhealthy. Also as Scott Ritter noted, if soldiers don’t know what the real purpose of a mission it is it is unfair and corrupt to expect them to toughen up
