Trump cancelled the strike plan because he feared the consequences and knew the limits of protecting Israel from Iran’s ballistic missiles. The Saudi, Qatar, and Pakistan involvement was just a diplomatic drama to cover up US weakness.

So, should the bombing continue or have intermission? Intermission allows the participants to take stock of the war. Will there be negotiations or reload?
The phrase “Rome wasn’t built in a day” could apply here. It means that significant achievements take time and effort.
Maybe the question should be reframed: given the diminished air defenses and offensive capabilities of U.S., Israel and associated Gulf States should Iran proceed to flattened their enemies with drone and missile attacks?
