Trump Fantasy Land and the Demise of U.S Weaponry

Wasted in a five month war and ticking. Fantasist Trump begs to differ. This is like the Hitler scenes from the bunker in the movie Downfall.

First off the weapons drawdowns illustrated in the US media were deliberating misleading as it showed data from early April.

The data from June 3 is still inaccurate even though it shows a weapons drawdown of about half from the start of the war. Thinking observers can subtract two months of additional usage.

The production math strongly favors Iran.

U.S. interceptor production annually: -96 THAAD interceptors -600+ PAC-3 interceptors -96 SM-3 interceptors -125 SM-6 interceptors

Iran’s offensive production annually: -3,000+ Shahed drones -3,600+ ballistic missiles A Shahed drone costs $20,000. A PAC-3 interceptor costs $4 million.

There is a real question if the US can even maintain current production levels let alone do a surge.

Guess we’ll need to upgrade our “count‑the‑interceptors” app before  playing the next rounds of missile bingo.
