I heard from an ex military guy that the scope on the rifle pictured is positioned far too far back, that you’d have to either be very small to use it that far back or that you’d have a black eye from the recoil. Anyone have experience with this stuff?
The guy in the black baseball cap seems to be missing the moles that Tyler has on his cheek and Tyler has attached earlobes but the guy in the cap appears to have detached lobes.

The guy in the cap has a more upturned nose. Draw a horizontal line through the tip of the nose in each photo. With the guy in the black cap that line passes under his earlobes, and yet we see MORE of the inside of his nostrils looking DOWN at him that we see of Tyler where that line passes through about where the ear canal would be, yet the photo is more level with his face.
The FBI released a photo of what they say is the murder weapon: a bolt action .30-06 built from a 98 Mauser receiver. If you have ever fired a rifle like that (I have lots of times with a 1903 Springfield) you know that the recoil is substantial, i.e., it f*ing kicks.
Look at where the telescopic sight is mounted. It is too far to the rear. Too close to the shooter’s face. This isn’t trivial. When that rifle recoils the end of the scope will be driven into the shooter’s eye ridge and leave a nasty bruise and/or cut.
So, either the kid that was arrested didn’t use this weapon or that weapon was used by somebody else … assuming that really is the murder weapon.
Yes, I have no experience with such things but the explanation seemed very reasonable. It feels like they’re trolling us with that scope setup!
The video footage of the man running across the rooftop and lowering himself down does not show him carrying the rifle, maybe a bag or a jacket, but not a rifle. If he left it on the rooftop how did it get to the wooded area?

The brown shirted guy is in front of him but Charlie was shot in the right side of his neck so impossible for it to have been the brown shirted guy.
