Wanted to share a post I wrote (and saved) on the topic a while ago:
My understanding of “pilpul” is as a tactic, describable as “deliberate quarreling in an effort to confuse/delay/distract an enemy or opponent”…it just occured to me there is a heavy aspect of “gaslighting” in this activity.
For “normal people”, what I consider “people with honor”, it is fundamentally dishonest…at a deep level.
Another way to describe it is
“Shit- Stirring”…done by “Shit-Stirrers”.
Some examples might be:
Incitement to Race or Civil Wars.

Incitement to Class Wars.
(see: Karl Marx)
Feminism,
“Men Are Pigs” Project
(see: Betty Friedan, explanatory papers by Miles Mathis, etc.)
The “Generation Gap”, the alienation of affection and trust, between older and younger members of extended families…
The creation of the human
“Teenager”,with all the Marketing, Fads, and Rebellion that could be wrung out of them.

Gender Confusion and Dysphoria,
and the promotion
