TWISTED TWITTER: Channel 4 Doc Shows Kids Get Unlimited Access to Porn on Social Media Sites

THE SUN — Twitter is one of the world’s biggest gateways to porn — giving kids unrestricted access, a TV show claims.

Channel 4’s documentary Generation Porn highlights how social media such as Twitter is not covered by upcoming legislation that requires online porn sites to make users confirm they are 18 or over.

So children can use accounts with no age verification controls to view footage posted on Twitter by porn firms.

Joe Todd, boss of UK porn film brand Fake Taxi, told the show parents need to be aware how easy it is for their children to by-pass the restrictions.

He said: “They don’t need to go on to a ‘porn site’. A lot of people don’t realise about Twitter — it’s one of the biggest porn sites in the world.

“A 13-year-old boy can just sign up with a new account with no age verification. […]
