THE SUN — Women can booze while pregnant — and guidelines suggesting otherwise are sexist, expert say.
Moms-to-be were last year told that no amount of alcohol is safe.
Experts urged abstinence, saying just a bit of booze can cause stunted growth in babies, learning and behavioral difficulties, and raise the risk of premature birth.
But speakers at the Policing Pregnancy Conference said there is no evidence to support the claims, which cause “needless anxiety.” […]
