The Nature of the Upper Caste Indian Threat
Let’s take a look at the culture of the increasingly influential people who are coming into the U.S. on HB1 visas to work as hacks and goons in the information technology game. And how much of this involves alphabet agencies of the government? As the managerial class, they determine who gets hired (co-tribalists) and fired.
The West has always been based on a unitary ethical structure, where everyone was equal before the law. By contrast, in places like India, something called ‘dual morality codes’ evolved, whereby the rules are applied different to people, based on their social status or power. The in-group is treated differently than the out-group.

The Brahman-Hindu philosophy is based on the strong belief that human civilization was originally created unequally. In their mindset, the Brahman-Hindu belongs to the highest caste and hence belongs to the elite of human civilization. Brahmans make up 5% of India’s population, and other upper castes 20%. India, in reality, is not a secular state but a state working solely on the ideology of Hinduism. Of India’s 1.4 billion natives, nearly 80% identify as Hindu, and nearly 20% identify as Muslim.
This is not some forgotten ancient archaic system. Indeed, under the British colonial rule and as late as the mid-20th century, the caste organization was accelerated as the central mechanism of India’s administration. Between 1860 and 1920, the British segregated Indians by caste, and granted administrative jobs and senior appointments only to those of the upper castes.
British society’s own similarly rigid class system provided the British with a template for understanding Indian society and castes [Ghuman, Paul (2013) British Untouchables: A Study of Dalit Identity and Education].
Nicholas Dirks has argued that India’s caste system as we know it today is a “modern phenomenon,” as caste was “fundamentally transformed by British colonial rule.” According to Dirks, before colonialism, caste affiliation was quite loose and fluid.
The British colonial government and their allies, for instance, enacted the Criminal Tribes Act of 1871. This law declared that everyone belonging to certain lower-tier castes were born with criminal tendencies. Castes suspected of seeking self-rule for India or having nationalist sentiment — such as the previous ruling families the Kallars and the Maravars of South India, and non-loyal castes in North India, such as Ahirs, Gurjars and Jats — were labeled “predatory and barbarian” and added to the criminal-castes list.
Under this nasty Brahman-British system, hundreds of Hindu communities were brought under the Criminal Tribes Act. By 1931, the colonial government included 237 criminal castes and tribes under the act in the Madras Presidency alone [Tolan, Deviant Bodies, 1995].
In reality, the British and their upper-caste minions created one of the nastiest systems in modern history, if ever. Is this template gone? They enacted laws such as the Land Alienation Act in 1900 and Punjab Pre-Emption Act in 1913, listing castes that could legally own land and denying equivalent property rights to other census-determined castes. These acts prohibited the inter-generational and intra-generational transfer of land from land-owning castes to any non-agricultural castes, thereby preventing economic mobility of property and creating subsequent caste barriers in India.
Even with post-WWII independence, caste has remained a major and contentious issue in the politics of India. These people make the inequities of the U.S. and Europe look like pikers. Among Brahmans today, 52% would not let an untouchable (referred to by the sterile term “scheduled caste”) use their utensils. In contrast note how well behaved Indian Christians and Buddhists are on this issue.

This terminology was originally coined by Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi and used in his 1925 book, “Practical Idealism.” It was his title for the future Pan-Europa aristocracy of Europe following WWI. Kalergi deemed the Jews to be the Master Race. Everyone else in Pan-Europa was to be a low IQ interbred Eurasian-Negroid racial mix who would be the new serfs for the Master Race. Somebody must have been paying attention, because a close look at the Europe of today sure seems to have Kalergi written all over it.

Everybody in India doesn’t support Israel. Far from it. We don’t like Modi and we think the association with Israel is going to be very bad for us. So, tarring everyone with the same brush isn’t very logical on the writer’s part. I suggest he does more research before trying to blame all problems on Brahmins. They are a minority in India now and the only ones without any special rights, whether it be regards to jobs or education. Plenty of Brahmins let an “untouchable” acquaintance/friend use their utensils when they invite them over for meals and they also use their utensils when they visit them in turn.
None of the Brahmins I know are interested in ruling over anybody, never mind the rest of human civilization. All they want to do is raise their families and live a decent, normal life. I also know quite a few “lower-caste” people who are very well-off, yet insist on taking government hand-outs at every chance. Speaking as someone who has been in silicon valley hi-tech for decades, this excellent article resonates with me. I’m highly aware of how slippery and hard working managerial Indians are. There are huge numbers of Indian Venture Capitalists at the top, many in senior management. The ‘autotrons’ are the poorly paid coders who are brought in on dodgy visas and endentured to single employers with lousy pay througn Indian owned ‘recruiters’.
US Indians tend to be very sharp elbowed and ‘ultra capitalist’ but I haven’t seen much evidence of caste based supremacy so far. Maybe this is because I am blind to those subtleties though. Davos and academia may well be their powerbase.

This is rather off-topic, but the ‘exam cheating’ comment got me. I’ve taught in many places and was very surprised to find cheating promoted on 2 different occasions. Once was while in the Peace Corps in the Czech Republic where I complained about the rampant student cheating on exams and was informed by the head teacher that it’s not considered cheating if the students are helping each other out, that’s encouraged and part of their ‘helping’ culture. Then again at Arizona State University, in the English for Foreigners faculty, where the wealthy foreign students paid their way out of any and all trouble and no rules applied to them. They literally laughed in my face when I tried to hold them to account for their cheating.

I’m a long time reader of this site and though I enjoy many of your articles I have to disagree with your conclusions in this piece. Indians are taking over certain industries because they are a family oriented, patriarchal society with a strong religious foundation. This gives them a huge advantage in the West where cultural and family values have completely collapsed.
Indian men, unlike Western men, control the sexuality of their women. Russ have you ever read the Arthashastra, by Kautilya? It is a 2300 year old book written on statecraft that is about 700 pages, I read it a couple years ago, it is one of the best books I’ve ever read, it is superior to the Prince by Machiavelli by a huge margin.
They don’t teach us about India in American public schools, but let me tell you, the Arthashastra is proof that India during the time of the Mauryan rivaled and even surpassed Greco/Roman civilization, particularly when it came to human rights. It was the Mauryan that ended the expansion of Alexander the Great’s successors the Diadochi, by defeating Seleucid I Nicator.
The real reason Indians are winning is because they use the strategies highlighted in that book. The Arthashastra teaches you how to win, but more so it teaches you how to live. I met an Indian one time who invited me to his home when I was in college. His family owned businesses all over town, he told me his parents paid for his college tuition 100 percent and he didn’t have to take out any loans. Both parents married, Mercedes Benz in the drive way, lovely house. Compare that to family where my father abandoned me at 10, drug addict mother, nearly homeless when I was a teenager.
Indians are winning because they know what life is all about, its about education, the family, and business, and they are handling the Ukraine situation brilliantly, refusing to take sides. There are some who believe India will become the next world empire, it wouldn’t surprise me. When a patriarchal, male dominated society comes into contact with a weak, matriarchal, leftist society the patriarchal society will always win. That is the real reason Indians are thriving.
There is little question that they have qualities for success. But in terms of power, politics, and corruption they are the ultimate gamers and edge players.

I am retired now but I had personal dealings with both Israelis and Indians in my career as a programmer-analyst.
Back in the mid 80s to early 90s I worked for one of the Regional Bell companies after the court ordered the break-up of AT&T. One of the last projects I worked on with them involved a partnership with the Israeli Amdocs corporation. The Israeli team members were some of the most arrogant people I’ve ever worked with. Even though they were warned on several occasions they would get together as a group and whisper among themselves in Yiddish, not sharing key information with their American counterparts. It was shortly after that the company began downsizing and letting go managers who had been with Bell for their entire careers. Demoted to an inferior position in the company, I left soon after and learned from some who had stayed that Amdocs began running the entire show and making life miserable for the reduced American staff.
I then moved to an insurance company in a smaller midwestern town. While working full time, I took advantage of the company’s tuition credits to take night classes at the local college toward a masters in project management. I completed all courses until the final course which required the student to come up with a project to demonstrate what had been taught throughout the entire curriculum. This was almost impossible, since the school did not provide any computer resources for such projects. I was surprised to find that classmates who were ahead of me in the program were still there and had not graduated. I soon found out that each student was assigned a college staff member who would have to okay and monitor each student project. The college staff were made up almost entirely of Indians. I immediately realized after just one meeting with the condescending Indian I was assigned to that he was there to block me from achieving my degree. The other American classmates were in the same boat, never being able to pass this final class and having to reup for another semester with accompanying tuition costs. Strangely enough, Indian students seemed to have no trouble completing the degree program. Needless to say I quit and never received my degree.
It was about the same time, around 2002, that the insurance company changed management and brought in Indian worker replacements for my job who I had to train or lose my severance package. For this and other reasons my career in computer science ended there and I went on to find other work in another field.
I enjoyed the article, and it joined some dots that I hadn’t thought of. I couldn’t get my head around how people with Indian names were popping up, high up in big tech positions, in cahoots with the slime balls like Gates etc. It now makes total sense.
