Here in California, we’re on Day 26 of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s shelter-in-place order and have another two weeks to go, at least. I presume you’re living under similar “shelter-in-place” orders. So, to help the pass the time constructively, here are a couple of timely classics from Winter Watch’s video archive.
No. 1 – The Money Masters: The Rise of the Bankers
“The Money Masters” is a 200-minute info-packed documentary from 1996 that traces the history of money in its many forms, and how political power structures have used it as a tool to manipulate societies and global events via the implementation of central banks.
The program starts with the development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century and the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth, followed by the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, described as “the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned ‘central’ bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers.”
Sounds like heavy viewing, I know, and the video quality isn’t great, but it’s one of the best explainer programs I’ve ever come across that covers this critical topic in an engaging and clear manner for even laypeople to understand. Understanding is important, especially now, during this “war on the virus” loot and debt-slavery program.

No. 2 – Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism
In 2010, film-makers Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitecross released a documentary called “The Shock Doctrine,” which illustrates the themes of the book “Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism” by Naomi Klein. The filmmakers created an 80-minute collage of Klein’s university lectures, newsreel footage and analyses to explain the strategic use of a crises to seize the levers of power.
Generally, Klein leans a little too hard left for my taste, but this documentary doesn’t take a hard Hegelian approach. Rather, it brilliantly illustrates neoliberalism in action. It’s especially timely during the first ~30 minutes, when it describes how government can impose psychological trauma on citizens to affect a desired outcome and gain public cooperation and acceptance for actions that would normally be considered unacceptable.

The points she makes – judging by your summary – are important by themselves. But she is not to be trusted. She is as ruling class as they come and her affiliation with the climate change agenda is the biggest tell for that.
Do understand that the way that the academic and intelligentsia factions of the ruling class love to demonize Big Corp and Big Bank USA is little more than pure theater. Exxon Corp will rake in their profits selling petroleum or trading carbon credits it makes little difference to them; she is no threat to them and does not intend to be.
That’s not to say that the factions of the ruling class are a unified and monolithic juggernaut. There are contentions and contesting agendas as well as bitter strife; but that hardly means that when push comes to shove they are not fundamentally aligned. That may best be demonstrated by mockery and disdain with which they have for 20 years responded to any suggestion that the Arab teenagers and their aluminum jumbo jets did not blast the WTC towers to smithereens. That’s the core “push-comes-to-shove” issue for the Noam Chomskys and the Naomi Kleins of the world; as well for lessor lights like Chistopher Hitchens recently mentioned here.
“Revolutionary Films” (the name of the video production company) indeed! We’re going to tell you how much energy you can use and in what ways; and we’re making those decisions at our next all expenses paid, luxury accommodations meeting at Davos. That’s the revolution!
The Nazis couldn’t stop boasting of their revolutionary aims. They gained power and immediately started turning the place into a prison camp. Naomi Klein has the same agenda. But as we have seen this spring, they will be able to do it on the cheep. The citizenry (oh! that once noble word) have shown that they will rush to abandon and bankrupt their business and submit to house arrest on command.

I hear what you’re saying about Naomi Klein, and I don’t blame you for taking a pass. Totally valid arguments. I’m not her advocate or a fan girl by any means. This is not her documentary. It’s not about her. It’s not an interview nor one-on-one format but rather primarily a lot of news reels. Voice excerpts from her lectures in which she aptly describes neoliberal theory are applied.
The two guys who put it together drew from a lot of sources and did an excellent job of illustrating neoliberalism, in my view. If you have a better source for illustrating neoliberalism, I’d welcome it.

You are right aboit the character and ethics of the Germans – I can confirm from personal experience. You can see tjat half or more of the current medical professionals who argue against the curent scamdemic are German. I fully agree on the hollowhoax and joo connection to the WW2 crimes, USSR etc. But you do not see that Germans were set up for failure from the beginning and Dolfy was the chosen, partially jooish executor of the plan. And even during the gold standard, the majority of money was issued via credits of the legalized fraud called Fractional Reserve Banking, and not via the Central Banks via their reserves (gold or otherwise). E.g. before 2008, 95% of US money supply was via FRB and only 5% stemmed from the central bank. QE has changed this ratio since 2009.

Bill Still’s The Money Masters is the one that really woke up up to the bankers and the wars. Once I watched it, everything truly made sense. I also found Money as Debt and MIke Rivero’s All Wars are Bankers Wars helpful.
I actually read Naomi Klein’s Shock Doctrine–it was well worth the read, and I just ignored the lefty parts.

Another good one was Aaron Russo’s Freedom to Fascism–I watched it year ago when I first woke up and decided to watch it again since this is clearly where we are now. It’s a good one for trying to wake people up. And seeing Woodrow Wilson, and black and white footage of those WHORES in DC destroying us with the passage of the Federal Reserve act sickens me to no end. They destroyed our nation and the world. And right now its looking like empowering these psychopathic bankers as they did could end up enslaving humanity forever. I wonder how much they got paid to sell out the nation and humanity.

In general, I’m not sure you want to restrict your focus to Covid19; as others have pointed out, “sustainability” and hence climate change are definitely lurking in the agenda as, I think, will soon become more evident. And I think it was a very deft connection that someone recently made here: 9/11 and 3/11.
And there is a connection to be made as well between the strife between what were called the “four pillars” of the ruling class in Germany in the 1930s – state, party, army, industrialists – and similar dynamics occurring in our own transnational ruling class … perhaps: IC (intelligence community), state, academia, big corp/big bank.
