Chinese citizens are witnessing draconian measures in dealing with their country’s coronavirus epidemic. Now we understand why. The deadly coronavirus is airborne, a Shanghai official confirmed. On Saturday, it was announced the virus can now spread via aerosol transmission, meaning it can drift through the air for an extended period of time after an infected person coughs or sneezes.
Zhong Nanshan, the epidemiologist who discovered SARS in 2003, just announced that the incubation period of the #nCoV2019 can be up to 24 days, not 14.
Actions taken thus far to prevent transmission include welding doors closed on block-style apartment buildings to trap residents inside. This is happening in Shanghai, not just Wuhan. This wouldn’t be happening if it was simply a strong influenza-type virus with a 1% or 2% mortality rate. This smacks of desperation.

Meanwhile, goods needed to feed and care for quarantined blocks are left exposed to the elements. How are people going to fare for a month?

Here we see belongings left by students away for New Year’s holiday being jettisoned out the window into a courtyard below to prepare quarantine dwelling spaces.
video shows personal belongings left by students in winter holiday just got thrown out of window …. this is because Chinese gov wants to turn students apartments into quarantine space for #coronavirus patients.

Piles of cell phones being sent to trash and incineration.
Possible video of cell phones left from #CoronaVirus deaths… if true it’s a chilling look at what’s going on…

Arson fires in whole apartment blocks are becoming more commonplace. Getting apocalyptic.

Satellite imagery suggests extensive cremation burning is underway in Wuhan at far higher numbers than the thousand or so dead that’s officially reported. Some of this are the possessions of the dead and sick.
Blast from the past: Newspapers form 1918 show how the government tried to downplay the Spanish flu, which ended up killing 50 million people. The comment about “being run down” or depleted immune systems rings true, however. And, in fact, there are indications that far more people are immune deficient than imagined.
A story out of StraitTimes.com suggests a 5% mortality rate, and something else:
The third week determines whether critical illness leads to death. Some in critical condition who receive treatment can raise their level of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, and see an improvement in their immune systems, and have been brought back, so to speak. But those whose lymphocyte numbers continue to decline, those whose immune systems are destroyed in the end, experience multiple organ failure and die.
Sixty-six new cases of coronavirus have been reported on a quarantined cruise ship in Japan, bringing the total cases on board the Diamond Princess to 136.
Moments ago, China rejected Apple supplier Foxconn‘s request to resume production as of Monday in a key Shenzhen plant. Foxconn also won’t be allowed to resume production at its iPhone production plant in Zhengzhou, Henan province, according to Jin Boyang, a member of the local epidemic control committee. Apple, of course, is one of the major mega-bubble stocks of the era.
The lock down looks like it continues on today, as Shanghai appears greatly emptied out.
The director-general of the World Health Organization said in a tweet Sunday that there have been concerning instances of coronavirus being spread from people with no travel history to China, and that “we may only be seeing the tip of the iceberg” when it comes to the virus.
Influenza fear has also emptied out malls in places like Hanoi.
When this hits, locust-impacted Africa — or even the U.S., where many people are immune-suppressed for a variety of reasons — look for a mass die off. Will there be swarms of hungry refugees into Europe and the U.S.?
Perfect storm on food prices. China pork prices skyrocketed in January.
Today from Reuters, China’s Agriculture Ministry announced the highly pathogenic H5N6 strain of avian flu had been found in a poultry farm in southwestern Sichuan province. This is the first H5N6 avian flu detected from a poultry farm after four cases were found in swans this year. The ministry said on Sunday night that 1,840 birds had died on a farm of 2,497. The remainder were culled.
Winter Watch Takeaway
The black-swan nature of these events is no longer a fringe concept.
Moody’s Analytics called the coronavirus “a black swan like no other.”
Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said, “It’s very, very transmissible, and it almost certainly is going to be a pandemic.”
I very much doubt that the Chinese government per se would unleash this black swan on its own population. It seems a stretch to think that foreign rivals would be behind this either. But that overlooks that there are discordian psychopaths in positions of power that love to see the world burn.
Discordians could be positioned for a financial crash, if nothing else for a motive. Although such a black swan sabotage offers ample plausible denial and, as yet, little evidence, nothing — and I mean nothing — would be beyond possibility for the New Underworld Order Crime Syndicate. Could this be a form of global sabotage focused initially on China as the primary target?
This event also provides a primer on how liberty and freedoms are trampled on as a consequence of a black swan. Like a white rabbit, do they pull the magical “savior vaccine” out of the magician’s hat at the appropriate moment and declare medical martial law?
