Theodore Roosevelt on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN

Are we “SLOW LEARNERS” or what?

Theodore Roosevelt on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN

“In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile…We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Analysis: Theodore Roosevelt indeed wrote these words, but not in 1907 while he was still President of the United States. The passages were culled from a letter he wrote to the president of the American Defense Society on January 3, 1919, three days before Roosevelt died (he served as president from 1901 to 1909).

“Americanization” was a favorite theme of Roosevelt’s during his later years, when he railed repeatedly against “hyphenated Americans” and the prospect of a nation “brought to ruins” by a “tangle of squabbling nationalities.”

He advocated the compulsory learning of English by every naturalized citizen. “Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or to leave the country,” he said in a statement to the Kansas City Star in 1918. “English should be the only language taught or used in the public schools.” […]

2 Comments on What Theodore Roosevelt Said About Immigrants

  1. In the beginning of America, the plan was to reunite the Europeans of Europe with the Europeans of America. Ethnicity had everything to do with America, in the beginning. But foreign powers put an end to that, by forcing legislation to make America quite another ethnicity altogether.

Rome fell when she became a nation of different ethnicities, even allowing former captured slaves to become the ruling class. If these people were captured and enslaved, what would make them good rulers? Wouldn’t they be forever moaning to their fellow slaves and inciting riots? Would the former order-takers suddenly become order-givers? Or was there, like today, “a man behind the curtain” pulling the strings to make the puppet dance and sing? How could there not have been? Truman admitted that he wasn’t much better than a sock-puppet, following orders and speaking words written by his masters. The Lobby fulfills that role today, fed by taxpayer-dollars via aid to a foreign country, and forcing the legislation which is anything but in the interests of America. Dual citizenship, and Treason, straight up. To whom do they owe their loyalty? The man behind the curtain. Foreign Aid being used to end America and make Palestine the most powerful Babylon the world will ever see. Read From Major Jordan’s Diaries to find out how this works in real time.

In short, it’s not just the immigrants you have to worry about, its the nation of their birth. And it would be a mistake to think that the mothers aren’t teaching the kids to be loyal to that old nation as well, while pretending to be solid American citizens. By their fruits ye shall know them. Because it’s not what they say with innocent eyes upraised, it’s who they pay and whom they support behind your back.

  2. In fact, that U.S. flag Roosevelt speaks of is the flag for war. The American flag of “We the people…” has vertical stripes. I’m sure you’ve heard that America and D.C. are completely separate, right? D.C., like the Vatican, is a nation unto itself. And probably the former flag is the one of D.C. “An Act to provide a Government for the District of Columbia” enacted in 1871, created this false rulership over the Americans. Followed by the bogus IRS, which is also a corporation apart from America. Not one of their laws is legally binding, since the US Corporation was born. No wonder the Executive Order has been allowed to dismiss the separation of powers, and rule by Tyranny. Some say Trump, (while acting as CEO of US Corporation?) dissolved the Corporation. If true, this means the next time you vote for CEO, you will be voting for… who knows what? Didn’t the Protocols plan to return the Constitution to America after they had Americans sufficiently brainwashed? Like Ford said, I care not who made the Protocols, but they’re being followed to the letter by someone.
